Incomparable (Andrew Wilson)
There is no greater pursuit, no greater journey, and no greater joy than discovering the extraordinary character of God. Incomparable explores sixty names and descriptions of our creator. Each chapter is filled with profound Biblical insights and revelations that will inspire and enrich your faith. Selah moments allow for a time of reflection and worship. And practical applications connect each truth with your daily life. Throughout, Incomparable unfolds the greatest wonder our minds and hearts will ever contemplate. Immerse yourself in His character. Delve into the depths of His presence. And experience a God that is truly beyond compare. This new edition adds a further sixteen mini-chapters, called Selahs. These are additional reflections, inserted throughout the book, aimed to apply practically some of the theology that has been taught in the previous chapters. The Selahs come in four types: "Read and Reflect" gives a key passage of Scripture to meditate on "Pause and Pray" gives a suggested prayer with which to follow up what has been said "Stop and Study" gives direction for further reading on more complex or controversial topics "Wait and Worship" gives various hymns and songs which focus on the relevant attribute of God

Saints Alive! (John Finney & Felicity Lawson)
Since its first release in 1982 Saints Alive!, produced in association with ReSource (previously known as the Anglican Renewal Movement), has been completed by around 350,000 participants with countless testimonies of people finding faith for the first time, rediscovering their love for the Lord, or experiencing a richer and deeper experience of the presence and power of God. Saints Alive! introduces people to faith in God through the power of the Holy Spirit, helping them to be integrated into the life of the church and moving out into ministry in their everyday lives. A nine week course for churches and groups of any size, it does not matter how much or how little people know about the Christian faith – all are welcome. Starting with the experiences of those in the group, Saints Alive! takes the leaders and participant’s on a voyage of discovery. It begins by considering our relationships, and in particular our need for God in the centre of our lives. Two sessions look at Jesus – what He taught and what He did, particularly studying the cross and the empty tomb, and then two sessions focus on the work of the Holy Spirit and His significance for our life today. Session six offers a time of ministry when people can respond to what they have learnt and receive whatever ministry is right for them, before the concluding sessions which explore how we can grow as Christians in fellowship with others in the Church and begin to minister to people you know. With a leader’s manual, optional videos, and a journal for every ember with teaching, Bible readings, and space to record their thoughts, Saints Alive! has been used by hundreds of thousands all over the world and with this new edition it will be used more widely still. John Finney was the Suffragan Bishop of Pontefract before his retirement. He served in several parishes and was then appointed Advisor in Evangelism in the Diocese of Southwell. Prior to his appointment as Bishop in 1993, he served nationally as the officer for the Decade of Evangelism. John has lectured widely, including for the DMin course at Fuller seminary in Pasadena, and is a well-regarded author. In retirement, he continues to minister as an honorary assistant bishop within the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. Felicity Lawson worked in a parish, taught in a theological college, and was Director of Training, Dean of Ministry, and Director of Ordinands in the Diocese of Wakefield before being ordained and becoming vicar of two parishes on the edge of Leeds. Along with John Finney, she is one of the authors of Emmaus: The Way of Faith, and has run many courses on nurture and discipleship. Felicity enjoys retirement ministry in the Diocese of Leeds and especially her involvement with Scargill House and ReSource.

Around the Wicket Gate (Charles Haddon Spurgeon)
PREFACE TO THE AMERICAN EDITIONThe host of American Christians who have had the privilege of listening to the prince of modern preachers of the gospel in his own London Tabernacle, and the countless thousands who have read his printed sermons, have long desired to see and hear him on this side of the ocean. The state of his health, however, which requires frequent respites from his incessant and exhausting labors, precludes the hope of an American tour, with its inevitable demands upon his already overburdened strength. All the more on this account they will welcome a new volume from his pen, designed for the benefit of a class found in every Christian community, the object of the deepest concern to the Church of Christ: a volume written by a master in Israel who has shown such a profound knowledge both of the human heart with all its needs, and of the wisdom and power of God in the gospel, and who has been to so many souls the blessed means of leading them to Christ. This new volume, like the author’s many previous books and tracts, his well-organized Colporter Society, etc., testifies to his high appreciation of the power of the press, and to his desire thus to win for Christ myriads of those whom his voice cannot reach. To all who are hovering around the “Wicket Gate,” or who even from time to time come within sight of it and wish they were safe within it, this little book is commended, with the hope that even while they are reading they will knock and it shall be opened to them.

Revelation is often considered one of the most confusing books of the Bible, and consequently it's regularly overlooked or ignored. But no longer. In Between the Cross and the Throne, Matthew Emerson walks us through the book of Revelation, unpacking its complex imagery and pointing out major themes. In conversational tone, he reminds us that Christ died, but he has risen. The Lord reigns, but evil persists. We live between Christ's ascension and his final conquest--and that should give us hope.

And these 10 studies will help you to learn those principles and apply them to your life. This Lifebuilder Bible Study in the new revised format features questions for starting group discussions and for meeting God in personal reflection, as well as a new "Now or Later" section in each study.
